We Won!

Glasgow-based mental health charity Lifelink was named Business of the Year at Association of Scottish Businesswomen Awards 2018.

Lifelink helps adults and young people cope with stress, anxiety and depression by providing one to one counselling and training courses including mindfulness, stress reduction and emotional literacy.

The organisation, which this year celebrates its 25th anniversary, provides support in local communities, schools and HMP Barlinnie. It also works with businesses to help their employees deal with stress and mental health issues.

Last year, Lifelink helped more than 7600 adults and young people cope with the major causes of stress in modern life that often lead to poor mental health and thoughts of suicide.

Commenting on the award win, Chief Executive Jacqui Taylor said: “We’re delighted and very proud to receive the Business of the Year Award. Our aim is to help people live happier, healthier lives wherever they live, work or learn and to have this recognised with this award is a real privilege.”
