19 March 2020
As the implications of COVID-19/Coronavirus continue to impact business and personal lives, we remain committed to delivering most services. However, due to the latest government advice we have made the difficult decision to no longer allow members of the public to access our venues.
Please see below for details of how to continue your engagement with us. The welfare of our clients and employees remains the highest of our priorities in these extraordinary times and we trust that you will understand the necessity of the actions we have been forced to take. Our phone systems will be operating as normal and counselling will be delivered by telephone or (if suitable) video sessions.
We will no longer book any face to face appointments for clients and clients should not come to our venues as most of them are closed to the public already or will be as of Friday 20 March. If you have a counselling appointment scheduled to take place from Saturday 21 March onwards, you should have had a call or a message from us that the appointment will be conducted by telephone. If you haven’t heard from us, please get in touch on 0141 552 4434 and we can update you.
Young people who normally see a counsellor in schools or a community venue in Glasgow or West Dunbartonshire (or who have been referred and are awaiting an appointment) can also access one to one telephone counselling services. Please call us on 0141 552 4434 to arrange this – we will need a telephone number to contact you on.
Telephone counselling is a great way of continuing connecting to your therapist during these challenging times when social distancing is necessary (click here to read more about the benefits of telephone counselling) for more info on how to get the best out of it and what you need to know.
Additionally, therapeutic groups, wellbeing classes and workshops will no longer run beyond the end of this week (Friday 20th March). Clients who were part of a therapeutic group will be able to access our telephone one to one counselling services and should contact us on 0141 552 4434 to arrange this (if someone hasn't already been in contact with you already). Please keep up to date with our website and our social media channels for news of when classes will resume. If you sign up to receive our news updates (add your email to the box at the bottom of this page, tick "please send me email updates" and click submit), we will also use this as a means of communicating when normal service resumes.
We will update this information regularly in response to advice from our partners, but if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us.
