Employee assistance programmes

Working with employee assistance programmes to reduce employee stress.

Lifelink works with employers and businesses to reduce employee stress and create a more efficient workplace. We are experienced and skilled in creating effective employee assistance programmes to suit a range of companies – big or small.

In 2013 131 million working days were lost as a result of sickness absence in the UK – an average of 4.4 days for each worker.

15 million of these days were stated as being the result of stress, anxiety or depression.

Lifelink can work with your team to develop and implement initiatives and strategies in the workplace which will promote better health and wellbeing and improve overall job performance.

Our services offer vital support to individuals feeling stressed or unable to cope, whether this is a result of workplace pressures or external factors impacting on workplace performance. Our staff are accredited with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

We operate all of our counselling services within the guidelines of BACP and NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde’s counselling standards. As a multidisciplinary team, in addition to our skills in therapeutic counselling we are also highly skilled in delivering a variety of emotional resilience building group work/training programmes.
