Youth Counsellors - West Scotland & Tayside

We're looking for qualified and experienced Youth Counsellors (contracted) and Associate Youth Counsellors (self-employed on 12 month contract) to join our team. 

Vacancies in West Scotland & Tayside

Roles are for 3 - 5 days per week (21- 35 hours). We can accommodate full time, part time and term time working arrangements.

Qualified Counsellor Grade 4 (£26,000-£29,999) pro rata

Accredited Counsellor Grade 5 (£30,000-£37,318) pro rata

(salary placement dependant on qualifications, experience and accreditation status)

You must have:

  • A recognised Diploma in Counselling and full registration with an appropriate professional body
  • A valid driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential
  • Excellent IT skills and competence with the use of digital technology

Ideally you will have:

  • Experience of delivering time limited, solution focused approaches
  • Demonstrable experience of working with a range of client types and presenting issues
  • Experience of recording comprehensive client progress and improvement data
  • Experience of counselling young people in a school environment is highly advantageous
